I like flap holsters. I ride. I hike. I like the flap to keep the pistol in and the weather and crud out. I have been using a cheap leather flap holster for percussion Colts and Remingtons for my 4.75” stainless Blackhawk 45 Colt. I am also somewhat frugal.

Found a flap holster for the Webley Mark IV service revolver that I like. It seems like it should fit dimensionally. Anyone know otherwise or can confirm?

Thanks.

If the holster isn't too tight it should work. The one dimension that will be very off is cylinder length. Webley was made in 45ACP and Webley, much shorter calibers than 45 Long Colt. But if the holster isn't form fitted tightly, no big deal.

Don't know about a Webley Mk.IV revolver holster but I do know that a Mk.VI revolver holster will fit a Ruger Redhawk with a 5 1/2" barrel perfectly. Got one for my brother when he lived in Alaska for taking along on his backwoods hikes.

This holster I made for a retired USMC Lt Colonel. it is made for a 6 1/2 Ruger Blackhawk.

I suspect that the ejector rod housing adds enough bulk that a BH will have difficulty fitting the holster in the barrel area. But perhaps the Webley holsters are very generous in that area.
