weight of a new S&W Model 57 Classic 6"

Does anyone know the weight of a new 6" Model 57? S&W does not provide that info on its web site:

Bud's lists it at 37 oz, which I have a hard time believing:

I'm still having a hard time believing this large frame 6" revolver weighs less than a 4" GP-100

Just as a guess I would say around 47oz. As a 4 inch Mtn gun goes at 39 oz.

48 oz per a search. It is the same frame as the M29 and will weigh a little more because the holes are smaller. Had a few of these over the years. Holds up better than the M29 with a lot of full loads. Recoil is about 25% less.
