Weirdest tactical junk gun you've seen, or photos?

I don't see what the big deal is about shooting clays with a Saiga. As long as the owner can shoot and isn't an idiot (ie: doesn't think the tacticool gun is the ultimate skeet shooter) what's the problem? What if your budget is limited and your primary reason for owning a shottie isn't clays? Does that mean you shouldn't be allowed to use it if you want to practice?

I don't have a shotgun, but if I did I'd only buy one. And it probably would be a little unique--not a mall ninja blaster but maybe an 870 Police, or one of the old Mag-10 goose guns that I used to see in catalogs.

One of these days, when I've actually got two dimes to rub together, I'm going to buy a Serbu Super Shorty. And one of the first things I'm going to do with it (after putting on a Knoxx BreachersGrip on it) is go skeet shooting. Just for the sole purpose of either annoying people, or giving them a good laugh (depending on how well/poorly I do).

Not exactly 'tactical', but ....

... The oddest outfitted gun I ever saw was a Marlin lever rifle, in .44 Magnum chambering. It was fitted with a 3x9 variable scope. I saw it at a gun show, some years ago. It was scratched up just enough to look like it was used in the field.

Now, I am aware of 'old man eyes'; I have the problem myself. I can understand mounting a small, low powered scope on such a carbine if the shooter just can't pick up iron sights.

But I cannot figure out a 9x scope on a 100-125 yard rifle.

I shouldn't pick on this company, but there is something about tactical single shots that bugs me.

Ugliest shotgun ever?

Remington_1196_C356.jpg

PIEZA UNICA!

That about sums it up.

I'll post the pic later...a Steyr Scout with two legs from a cheap plastic camera tripod glued to it, an additional scope bases welded to the top, over the receiver!

Did it look like this?;)

The famous pic of the Asian guy with the AR is Paul Kim, chief designer for SureFire.
Wow! That's cool...I always assumed it was some airsoft nerd (No offense, I like airsoft too, I just say that because I see it most on airsoft boards) holding an M4...then it got shopped...
I know this because I see some pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

Where is Techbrute when we need him?

Actually, his AR has some trick stuff on it, we have nicknamed it Robogun (tm).

LMFAO @ Armedbear! Yeah that about sums it up!

And MechAg94 that is exactly what Im talking about. I love that movie. Best part is when the guy has the worst AD/ND ever!

Hmm... I was actually thinking about putting a pistol-grip stock on my single 12ga.
It won't be a full-blown GK special or anything, though. I don't even OWN a wheelbarrow.

hmmm... inappropriate trap guns? I routinely shoot trap and sporting clays with my '87. That's Winchester 1887, lever action 12 ga. 24" bbl, no choke. First time I took it out, there was a clown on my squad that started in about how it was "gonna blow up" (it IS over 100), while getting his stainlees and polymer O/U ready. I proceeded to outshoot him with it...

At clays, there's always at least one person that wants to try it...

Here it is. The 1911

JUSSST KIDDDINGGGG!!!!!!!!

(crap where's my level IV plate carrier)

You know, just because we all liked V for Vendetta doesn't mean you need to recreate that one scene for us. :neener:

I'm kinda a purist, I don't like bolting a billion other objects onto any firearm. But I go insane once from sleep deprivation and mounted a bayonet on a M249. It seemed ... appropriate at the time.

One thing that always puzzled me. REALLY long scopes. I've seen scopes on typical hunting rifles that were more than half the length of the rifle. Uh...

:barf: griz, i think i just threw up in my mouth a little...

+1 HighVelocity, thoes guys from Extreme shock are ridiculose, you see the adds in numreous gun magazines with them jumping out a choppas holding 870 with red dot sights on them and all sorts of mall ninja gear

arent ninjas supposed to have swords? although i reckon any ninja that has seen indiana jones would trade in his sword fer a gun asap. id say the ultimate tacticool weapon was described in the song "30 pointer".

Hey K-dog I would actually own that revolver! Its not on the top of my list but it is nice. The red dot throws it off a bit but why not! Whats come of me! Ive started to have this thing for revolvers lately!

I'm trying reeeeaaaally hard to see what's so funny about the Steyr Scout in ArmedBear's post.

Is it just because you think the Scout looks goofy, or because there's something extra I'm not seeing. The picture makes it look bone factory stock, but it's not a very detailed pic. C'mon, throw me a bone here - am I being too literal?

Also, just thought I'd chime in - not quite "attached" but funny nonetheless. Pair of 20-something dudes at a local INDOOR RANGE, shooting a .22 semi-auto rifle with a scope, offhand at 10-15 yards. They had a pair of BINOCULARS to spot the hits (and the grouping was all over the target). Every time one of them hit the paper, the one spotting with the binoculars would yell, "YES!!" I laughed all the way home.
