I had the 4 5/8" barreled SBH but couldn't pass up the 7 1/2" today- I just so happened to have and extra set of black hogue rubber grips and a holster so I new it was a sign;). I picked it up for 320 + tax. They are all chambered for .44 mag. I just can't wait to take them all out together!

I think the theme to this picture would be- If it aint broke don't fix it- and Two is one- one is none.

What all is "they"?

Looks like a spiffy set, to be sure!

And, if "two is one"......now you need another lever, but with a different barrel length.

How do those grips handle the recoil? I took my SBH 7.5 inch out last weekend for the first time and that bad boy definitely has some recoil to it.

"Nice set, I would like the same only in 357. What is the Knife set that you have?"

The 44 Mag is better all around for bigger game, and recoil out of the rifle is negligible- it's like shooting a .22- because of the heavy octagonal barrel (all three weapons though will shoot .44 special which is even lighter. Knives of Alaska - Bush Camp Knife in D2 tool steel with a Cub Bear- not Bear Cub in 440c (stainless).

They are both ruger SBH in 44 mag- one is 4 5/8" the other is 7 1/2", the rifle is a henry golden boy deluxe in 44 mag- and the books are a signed copy of Six Guns by elmer keith and his autobiography Hell I Was There.

I had to get the hogue rubber grips bc those cowboy grips really beat me up- now I can shoot factory mags all day long and not even notice it- it helps that much. I won't EVER EVER change them.
