Well, that's embarrassing!

… I definitely would love to hear your feedback here.
You seem to like the CZs that you have. I suggest you try a 97 B. I find the 97 B to be possibly my favorite CZ to shoot among the 6 CZs that I have. I love them all to the point that I sold my 1911, Beretta 92 SB and HK P2000SK (hated that gun), only keeping the Browning High Power amongst my centerfire semi autos. I like and admire the HP but it’s not as nice (trigger and ergonomics) to shoot as the CZs and no more than half as accurate.

Not to reawaken the thread but...

I haven't even picked up my new Colt yet (I will when they open today) due to the MD waiting period and I just bought a lightly used Dan Wesson Heritage (almost bought an unfired used Pointman, but I wanted the fixed sights for home defense). The original owner replaced the front sight with a fiber optic sight and the grips with nice wood DW grips. If I use this instead of the Gold Cup for home defense I'll probably put on some night sights on the front (leaving the regular rear sight).

You'll love the DW Heritage! Mine is my favorite 1911. Keep it lubed well if it has few rounds through it (per the instructions DW sent with mine new). If it’s all broken in, then lube as normal! Incredibly easy to shoot well—it will make you think you are better than you are!

Pretty interesting. What’s making you shoot it more than the Series 70? Do you actually like it better? Or is it because it’s still a new toy?

I don't necessarily like it better than the Series 70, if I were to be blindfolded and handed either, it'd be impossible to tell one from the other as they are physically identical. The Tisas is in a IWB holster jammed between the drivers seat and console of one of my pickups, so it's easy to grab it and shoot it whenever I'm at home. I worked on the trigger pull last night so I'll probably shoot it some today.

So, I think I'm done buying 1911s and similar guns for at least a year. Since I accidentally bought the 9mm SA I have bought a Colt Gold Cup and a used Dan Wesson. I spent more on 1911s in the past two or three weeks than I spent on guns in the past 5+ years (until my buying spree that started in Sept and possibly counting those guns since the most expensive was under $600). Before I'm done I may trade my RIA compact for a SA EMP or Kimber Ultra Carry, but it may need to wait. I do have a couple more non-1911s on the current wish list, but even then, only after I sell a few guns that I planned to sell off.

I find the Springfield "loaded" 9mm is a great shooter. Tight fit needs to be broken in. The only issue if the crossed cannon logo on the slide is not well done as it is on the Range officer model.

I mistakenly bid on 2 9mm 1911's on GunBroker and won both, yeah that was dumb. Did resell one of them later.
You won't be happy until you get your 5" 1911 in 45 ACP.
I have 10 in 5 different calibers.
45, 9mm, 38 Super, 40 S&W and a 22lr.
My Dan Wesson Guardian in 9 milli-metric it's my favorite to shoot.
