As was the case with our first date, the SO took me shooting in AZ last week. This was my first vacation in over 4 years. I got to shoot a lot of his stuff, but had the most fun with his 308. Most of the time I don't have the upper body strength to do doodly-squat with a rifle.

Somewhere, Oleg Volk sits at his computer, frothing at the mouth...:D

Aww, C'mon, Belle!

You don't have those pix in a bigger format?

Play nice!

When I enlarge them, I lose way too much resolution.

I wanna see them shootin' irons!

Sorry, I can't!

I don't even OWN a camera myself, and these were taken by a friend who has a high resolution camera very similar to the one Oleg uses. The files were HUGE before the SO shrank them down to thumbnails. I asked for originals but I'm still not how to approach getting them resized into a usable format.

You should be irritated with this guy. He takes pictures of you and can only give you these tiny images? :cuss:

What is a high end camera anyway? Rebel XT? Nikon D70? (or something really high end) I would like to know what Oleg shoots with anyway.

Were you out at Ben Avery? Pretty damn hot out there now. I can stand it for a couple hours this time of year, unless there is a breeze blowing on my sweat soaked shirt.

Were you out at Ben Avery?

I'm not sure where we were, but I know we passed through a city (Apache something?) to get ammo at this place and I was told that the area wasn't exactly the safest part of the city. The weather was pleasant that day with a nice breeze, and we were there until closing. It's rare that it gets too hot for me out there, since I'm from the Memphis metro area and we're dealing with humidity in the 90% range almost every day. At least you guys got "dry" heat there!

I wish I knew what kind of camera these were taken with, but I do know that the guy who took the photos does work as a realtor and it was a high resolution camera, either a Nikon or a Cannon. Oleg likes to use nice stuff for his photos and is fond of telephoto lenses that are about a foot long :D

If the SO will roll his rear end out of bed, I'll bug him again to see if I can get the originals...if he's saved those.
