Went to Cabelas today and picked me up another CZ!

Well I went to Cabelas today to pick up some bullets for my 300 Mag and left with a Rifle! Amazing how that happens some times.

Well I bought me a CZ FS American 550 .308! I never thought about buying a .308 cal but when I saw this one I simply could not walk away without it.

Well I got 6 loads prepped for it and put a scope on it tonight so I am ready to take it to the range to see if I can quickly get an accurate load for it for deer hunting season. Then I will have a tough decision to make as to what rifle to take with me to the stand.

Hum...CZs - 6.5X55 Swede, 243, 308 or Rem BDL 300 Mag.

The only reason I am considering the 300 Mag is that I might have a chance at a shot out to 300 yards and I am simply more confident with that rifle at that range.
 
You should be able to "scope" in the FS to 300 yards, that cartridge has been around a long time and is quite accurate.
