And it actually wasn't too bad. No screaming mobs, no mile long line to get in.

The ammo was picked over fairly early on, and there were a few people who were out of their minds on primers and ammo, but overall prices were within reason. AR's were nearly at pre-panic prices, and not many moving. Plenty of handguns, rifles and shotguns with a few deals here and there.

Not much available for .22LR, and the better priced handgun ammo was selling out fairly quickly. Picked up some .44 Mag ammo at a good price, made it worth the trip.

One fellow had a big sign on a single bulk pack of .22LR that read "Box not full, today only $800!". It was actually pretty funny, as everything else on his table had decent prices.

The stuff that was obviously overpriced wasn't moving at all, but there was plenty of other stuff spend your money on. Lots of cool stuff to look at as well, including a good-sized collection of Whitney repeating rifles and a nice display of WW2 weapons.

Unfortunately, no jerky sellers. Oh well, can't have everything!

I'll venture to a gunshow this coming weekend, the first since the last weekend of 2012. I came home from that one with a Ruger GSR, NIB for $900 (that included he ~$70 or so in tax, so it was about $200 below retail :) ). My pockets are not as deep for this one, but maybe I can score some Varget  .

Ran a table at the Kokamo Ind. gun show this weekend. pretty much same story. Ammo went fast, just slightly lower in price. Got a BUNCH of Magpul 20 &30 rounders for 9 dollars apiece, some G.I. mags cheap. Many people coming in SELLING black rifles. 22lr still non existent. The few boxes I seen were at 50$ per 500. Overall a really slow show for selling, great show for buying....

Friend of mine went to a local show this weekend while I was out of town. Said it was pretty slow, ammo got picked up early on.

We have 3 gun shows a year here, 2 "Gun and Antique shows" one in the spring and one in the fall. Also 1 smaller show during the CM Russell "art week" mostly devoted western collectibles. All the shows are run by the same people, so if you want something different you better be ready to travel.

Around here the run on firearms is pretty much over, just waiting for ammo supplies to return to something resembling normal. Not holding my breath on that one. I have enough stuff to keep shooting for a good bit yet, so I'm not really in panic mode.

With the total lack of jerky vendors at the show, I very nearly starved to death before I found the exit. It was a close thing.........:D
