Western Auto Revelation 310A firing pin spring?

I just picked up an old Western Auto Revelation 310A 12 ga pump. This is supposed to be the same as a Mossberg 500A. Does anyone have an idea if these guns came with a firing pin spring? Mine doesn't have a firing pin spring and I don't see where one could fit inside the bolt with the shape of the firing pin. The only exploding drawings I could find show the newer model 500 and it looks nothing like firing pin configuration on my shotgun. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

The 310A is a Mossberg Model 500.

Here's an exploded view of the 500.
There is a firing pin spring, part number 39 on the drawing. Also note the FP washer, part 38.

Thank you for the information. My firing pin must be an old style as it looks nothing like the one pictured in the diagram. I will try and order the new pin, washer and spring and hopefully these will work in my old bolt.
