I just escaped NY after working there till retirement. I landed in PA just outside Pittsburgh and am looking for gun clubs to join. I would like 300 yard rifle with NRA and CMP match's. One that looks good is Clairton and Greensburg sportsman. I'm close to Irwin so let me know your recommendations. Would also entertain a club with 200 yard range for load development.

Check out the ranges that are in the state parks. We have a range in Archbald that is 200 yards. Empty during the week.

Congratulations, wish I had the money to move out. Wired how it's to pricey to live here but can't afford to leave. Pennsylvania or Tennessee are high on my list. Hope you find a club.

Clairton's a great club that has the ranges and matches that you are looking for. Greensburg's highpower programs have become pretty much non-existent.

If you're an NRA member (Required for membership.), East Monongahela Sportsmen's Club (https://www.emsportsmen.com/) has a very nice, and well kept, 25, 50,100 ,200, 300 yard rifle range, i addition they have an outdoor pistol range, trap range and a fishing lake. Membership isn't expensive, and rarely do you have to wait to get a shooting position on their ranges.

Pitcairn-Monroeville Sportsmen is another option.

It might be the closest place to you, and they have a monthly CMP match too. I took one of my boys to a hunter safety class there years ago. It seemed like a good club.

Guys, thanks for the tips on clubs. Yes i am NRA member so we are good to go there. looks like Clairton or East Monogahela check the all the box's for my needs. By the way I Went to DMV today and got my PA drivers license and registered to vote - Republican so i'm doing my part!!!!
