Just beginning to wet tumble (less lead dust) with stainless steel pins.

After tumbling, emptying the lemi-shine and Aawn, and flushing with clean water . . . to stop the clean brass from oxidizing, I thought I’d tumble for 10 minutes with a dollop of Hornady One Shot Polish squirted in some clean water in the tumbler.

Anyone else use anything? I have heard of using Armor-All wash.

Another option would be to put the dried brass in a plastic bag and spray with Hornady One Shot Gun Lube and Cleaner (a product that beat Rem Oil hands down in a test of anti-corrosion longevity).

If you still have a regular tumbler for corn just throw the brass in it with some NuFinish and it will stay like new for a long time.

It would be just as easy to substitute the ArmorAll Wash & Wax for the Dawn in the initial wash

It is what I have been doing for over a year and the bagged brass that I did many months ago is still bright & shiny, unlike the brass that I did with Dawn that is increasingly tarnished.

I have been processing brass commercially for the past several years using Dawn and LemiShine, and have not had any "oxidizing" problems. After thoroughly rinsing the brass in clean water, the brass goes in a low temp oven for 30 minutes, and the brass comes dry and shiny and stays that way.
