I had some what of an epiphany the other night. I really like my WFT trimmers but I hate how sore more thumb gets after trimming a lot of 223 cases. I sacrificed my RCBS Trim Pro-2 shell holder: I removed it from the trimmer and bolted it to a piece of metal I could place in my vice. I can place the shell in the drill then into the holder for trimming. No more sore thumbs!

The shell holder can be purchased separately from midway for this purchase.

I still want a Giraud case trimmer, but this might hold the desire off for a while!

Last night I got a wild hair while trimming some tiny 5.7x28 brass on my Hornady Cam Lock trimmer. I decided to remove the handle/knob, wrap the threads in tape, and chuck my drill onto it. Well a 3/8" drill just wouldn't stay chucked onto it. I took out a file and proceeded to take the threads off. I'll never be able to mount the manual handle back onto it, but now its a poor man's electric trimmer w/ a fairly fast method for inserting/removing casings. I was going to save up for a WFT or Possum Hollow for .223 but I don't see reason to now.
