Forget shells ordered from Sportsman's Guide 4/22/09 that are backordered now till 3/4... My friends at Natchez Shooters Supply finally got it: IMR 4895 in 8 lb. containers. It has been almost a year since I tried to get it there!

This is the alert that you requested on 03/22/2009. Item DU48958 is currently in stock and available for purchase."

Yes, for $139 + $25 HazMat.

Watching supplies dry up and not willing to wait much longer, no less an unlimited amount of time, I was willing to pay a bit of a premium for a bird in the hand whilst others wailed about a few dollars. So, not knowing what the future held but expecting it wouldn't improve, 11 months ago I paid the then arguably outrageous price of $135/8 lb. can at T & T Reloading with lower HazMat. Now they're getting $148 + $25 HazMat too. I feel vindicated no matter what.

So, what reloading component changes have you seen in the last year!?

Al

Today Between all of my local gun stores I can find any size primer. They may not be the brand I want but they work for 36.00 per k. This time last year none were to be found.

I just picked up 1K of Small Pistol for $36+ the governors share. Powder is available, I just had to pick up those primers with my allowance this week.
