By the looks of your photos it looks like it was a very nice day in your area. I commend your patience--10 cylinders reloaded.
I went out Wednes with 3 revolvers @ 2 cylinders each did me in with a little 1911 as seasoning. I will say tho it probably was a bit chillier here in my area with snow and a stiff breeze. Also on the last cylinder with a new Dragoon, the cap fell inside and locked her up tight as could be--the end of that shoot.

Yes sir, Im blessed with good friends. He is extremely generous to allow us to shoot there. It helps that he's a big shooter too.

Its been unseasonably warm the last few months in Central Florida, this cold snap over the last few days has been really nice.

I know a good day shooting with buddies is supposed to be as good as it gets, but I'll confess, my most enjoyable times with my guns have been when its just me and them out at the ranch.

Having just had a similar nice day of shooting on my own a couple of weeks back I know what you mean. I normally enjoy some company at the range but now and then it's nice to be alone and just enjoy playing on our own and maybe experiment a little.

I have to say though that I fear for the welfare of your firearms when I see that exposed hammer in the first picture.... :D

Thank you BC, I keep it there for when they get out of line. A quick wrap on the beak and I get a little respect:) :) No, Im kidding, I use the rubber handle to tap the wedge on the sheriff.

I just started loading for the 30-30. I cast a 150gr lead flat nose with a lee mold and push it real slow with pistol powder. Extremely fun on steel plates at 50 yards :)

Looks a lot like where I shoot...

My parents' horse farm has an empty pasture with a berm for a backdrop...perfect for shooting...except the first time I didn't think to check the wind direction...Shot my 1858 Remmy right into a nice headwind and suddenly found myself in the epicenter of a cloud of brimstone fumes. I still laugh every time I tell that story.

My grandpa used to say.... "Don't pee into the wind or on an electric fence, if you do, you'll never do it again."
