I took the:
Ruger Gunsite Scout in .308 Winchester
Smith and Wesson M&P15
Springfield Loaded Stainless 1911
Glock 17
Sig Sauer P238

We shot for 3 hours. My wife is very accurate with the long guns. I was impressed. We had a ball today. She was my brass chicken too, and boy did that bag get heavy. Great weather. Sunny and mid-70s, a little breeze. All rounds were my reloads, which produced nary a one problem.

Afterwards we ate huge cheeseburgers and Cajun fries at Christies here in St. Charles, as we wanted to go get our kids from skrool (Jocelyn Elders pronunciation). Had a blast. Now I have to clean them all. Ugh.

Let me be the first to say-
Send 'em down here and I'll clean 'em up for you.

me too!

My B-day was last weekend and my wonderful wife insisted we go to a local indoor range and shoot some. She enjoys shooting my Ruger single six 22lr, and did extremely well with it. We wound up shooting out a heart silhouette (say ahhh, how sweet!) and a happy smiley face with the ruger 10/22. Lots of 22 shooting (not too much--can't afford to replace a whole lot) and some 44 spcl and 380 auto. Best part was just spending time together--and the smell of fresh burned powder!

Glad to hear there are other happy shooting couples! The burger part sounded really good, too.

I could only wish my wife would join me in anything I want to do. We are polar opposites and she has no interest in any of my hobbies or ways of life.

She doesn't interfere with my way of life though either. Maybe that's why we've stayed married for 35yrs.

I envy you, and am really happy that you had this excellent outing with your wife. Good for you.
