For a .32 Ortgies, Makarov, or CZ-83? The latter two are probably a bit large...

I don't want to lose the gun if I have to run a short distance!

What ankle holster

After trying several with my ppk/s .380, I love the Galco police ankle band. Very comfortable and works great. I wear either jeans or Dockers and no one knows it's there.

The Alessi is a great rig, but I find it a little bulky. My favorite ankle rig is the Galco Ankle Glove. I've carried Baby Glocks and J-frames in them, and for me they're more comfortable than anything else out there.

I whole heartedly recommend Alessi's ankle rig. (No retention strap required.)

Years ago I got a Renegade brand for my J frame because of its top rating it got in a test report against other ankle holsters. I like it alot, and it works well, but to be honest I haven't worn it near enough to give it a solid thumbs up. It is made by Renegade out of Phoenix Arizona, and that's about all I can tell ya.

Alessi......

Have been able to CCW a Chunky, Blocky Glock 27 in one with ease
and comfort.

I don't know about an ankle holster for a .32 Ortgies, but I use a DeSantis Apache nylon ankle holster to carry my J-frame. It works great. Holds the gun very securely and is comfortable to wear (remember to wear a sock under the holster for comfort and another outside the holster for concealment.

The DeSantis Apache is similar to the Galco police ankle rig.

There are many good ones but I would have to say the best is the Allessi holsters. You get what you pay for. ;)
