hello everyone, i was just wondering what preban glock 22(.40) mags going for in the right market? and what would it take for me to be able(if at all posible) to sell these mags across into states with a AWB(like cali or NY).

the mags were purchused shortly before the 1994 AWB.

(oh and i'm not sure if this is the right place to put this thread so please move accordingly if moderators see fit, thank you)

You could sell them for $80-100 a piece in NY.

What the.. ? .. I mean no insult, but where the heck did you get those numbers from ?

Even in the last year Ive bought several for my sub2000 from members on different forums, all for between 15 and 25 bucks a piece. To most folks they're just old used mags. Even local gun shows in upstate NY, where they have the most unscrupulous prices, I don't think I've ever seen anyone asking more than $40 for an individual mag.

Anyway, Zanad, it's perfectly legal to ship pre-ban magazines to private owners in NY. There have been varied arguments about this on forums, but basically as I understand it people have been fear mongered into a stance of simply believing rumors they heard as opposed to the written laws.

Early 2000s was before the AWB sunset, so I'd believe those figures for that time frame.

Got the numbers from when I sold some pre-ban magazines to some people in NY during the early 2000s.

LOL. So you're answering a question about current pricing with info that is 10 years old and based on a completely different set of circumstances (ban vs. no ban)?

Old standard cap mags are just that. I see them for ~$15.
Summit has G22 mags for $10 right now.

When I picked up my Sub2K, I bought pre-ban G-22 mags from several THR members via the Trading Post section. IIRC, I never paid more than $15/mag.
