I have been reloading and shooting .45 ACP for a while and have had good accuracy in my Ruger P345 with the 185gr LSWC from MB.
I just acquired a Ruger P85 MKII and want to start reloading for it too.
I am curious to know what style and weight boolit gives y'all the best accuracy in similar pistols?
Is it LSWC, TC, LRN?
What weight 115, 125, 147?

I shoot the 125g small ball from MB in my CZ75. Tried a few differnt powders and finally settled on 5.6g of Accurate #5. This gives me 1069 fps.

My glock 34 prefers the 124 grainers over the 147gr and 115gr...

my load is 4.4 grs of W231 with 124 gr plated bullets and
3.5 grs of W231 with 150 plated bullets

In my experience jacketed bullets deliver the most accuracy ( I notice it at 20 yards or more) but not many think the same ... for IPSC use plated bullets thay are accurate enoght, cheap and give you a little less felt recoil than jacketed.

I had a RUGER p95 DC in SS and the best load i could get was 4.2 W231 with 125gr plated bullets they delivered 1.5" at 15 yards ... they were light but were enoght to cycle the slide ...
