I have never purchased an AR in anything more than "stripped lower" configuration, so technically, all of mine are Frankenguns.

If you go by the brand of lower, I have Stag, DPMS, RRA, (multiple) Essential Arms, Zombie Defense, Spike's Tactical, DDLES and (multiple) PSA. I even have two 0% lowers That I've built!

First AR-15 is from a Del-Ton kit.
Second is based on a LR-308 lower. It has parts from 4 or 5 different manufacturers that work with the DPMS platform.

Franken Rifle

I traded into a Frankenn rifle assembled by a civilian working range control. It is all mil spec parts and assembled to the tight end of tolerances. Very accurate and dependable. It is an A2 version.

Very true, thank you.

Please don't stray too far from the topic of the thread people. Not everyone needs/wants/can afford a top tier AR. Please don't look down on someone because they own a less expensive AR.

Most of mine are Frankenguns. Doublestar and CMMG lowers, CMMG and BCM uppers, and a Rock River that I stripped and re-built. Most are covered in Magpul something or other also.

Armalite, Bushmaster, Colt, Omega, and Rock River Arms. Everything from a SP1 to A2's and middy's, carbines, and a fun little dissipator. Hands down my favorite to shoot is the Colt SP1, seems to be the only one that comes out to play anymore in fact.

Actually, it's a toss up between the SP1 and the Armalite AR-10. Both are a hoot.
