I apologize in advance for this question. I was asked to look up a pair of shotguns that a friend who lives many miles away owns. All I know about them are they are browning O/U one in 12 and one in 20 GA. On them they say Made in Belgium. Accorning to my friend there is no Model name visible on the gun. The guns were given to my friend, but he said the person he got the guns from had them since the '70s. He sent me a cell phone pic and all I can tell is that one of them is a single trigger gun. I only know of two types of Browning O/U and that's the Supperposed and the Citori. Would it make sense that either of these models would not have a model name on it? Also. Apperently the forearm does not apear to come off of the barrel. I tried to attach two of the cell phone pics. Hope they show up. Thanks in advance.

Just got the serial numbers from my friend. The 20 gauge is #48XX and the 12 gauge is #20XXX. I looked on google and it sounds like those numbers would make them the Superposed. Am I correct. If so does anyone know what age they would be. Looks like 1950s?

Browning still make the Superposed, it is a order only gun. You have to go to FN and have then make it. The cost? Really big bucks, but the gun is built to order and it fits the owner like a glove.
