What Common Gun Evades You?

Winchester Model 12 12ga and Winchester Model 88 in .308. I have a Ithaca Model 37, a Rem 1100, and a Winchester 1300, all in 12ga. I also have a CZ-550 in .30-06 and a Cz-550 Varmint in .308. I don't hunt anymore and have absolutely no use or need for either of these guns but I just want 'em and can't find 'em.:banghead:

Just a word, if every gun you see (of a model you want) is "overpriced" it may be that you have an unrealistic view of the value, not everyone else. Just because someone you know paid $x for a certain gun in 1997 doesn't mean they are available for that now.

If you want a decent BHP in 9mm for example you need to be prepared to pay at least $5-600, and if it's a special model even more. If, for example, you expect to find a NIB BHP for $400 then you really don't want to buy one, you want someone to give you one, that's a different issue.

Phenolic stocked SKS. AKA jungle stocked SKS. The red plastic stocked SKS. I can never find one. I saw one when I was younger and wanted it at first sight. I was 14 couldn't have it --I'm 30 and still looking for one.

The Bronco Garcia 22 rifle which was my very first rifle. I looked for over 20 years and never saw one, then came Gunbroker. Just never though I would spend $260 for a rifle that was less than $50 new! I did and just pick it up today.

Colt 1911.

I have two 1911's a Taurus and an RIA but someday hope to get a Colt when the funds are there. I would really like two, one for me and one for my dad.

A Ruger 10/22 international. I'm sure if I looked on gunbroker or something like that, I could have one tomorrow, but I only look at one dealer, and so far I haven't seen one there. Gives me an excuse to go in at least once a week.

It WAS an Ithaca M-49 single shot 22 rifle, but I found one of those (at this same dealer) so I had to come up with something else. :D

I have wanted a Colt Delta Elite 10mm since first reading about the 10mm when I was a wee boy. I still want to replace the M38 swedish mauser I foolishly sold 3 years ago.

I'd like a civilian copy of the M-14 I shot expert with in basic in 1967.

Hard to justify the cost though for a gun I couldn't shoot that often.

Now if someone wants to give one away.....

I don't think that gun karma let's you go back. :banghead:

If it did I would have found a Ithaca model 37 like the one that I foolishly sold thirty years ago. ;)

Remington 760 carbine in .308. I want one of the older ones with wood furniture. Plenty of .30-06 carbines around, but the .308s seem to disappear. Finally broke down and bought a .308 rifle with the idea of cutting the barrel back to 18 inches, but it' so pretty as-is that I guess I'll keep looking for a carbine.

Weatherby ultralight 338-06, always wanted one just never had the money and rifle togather in the same place at the same time.

M1 garand
Romanian M69 Trainer
Romanian TT-33
Nagant Revolver

Its not that there hard to find...

Its just that I keep finding good deals on other guns and ammo :D
One of these will be one of the next 2 guns I get
