Found one for sale. Pinned barrel, recessed chambers, target hammer and trigger, red insert front sight. Outstanding condition. Tight lockup to.

Depends, I think. I found one in nickel with 4" barrel in excellent condition that sold on GunBroker for $1225. No box or papers, which usually add $100-150 to value. So I'd say $950 would be a deal, $1200 a fair price, and $1500 with box and papers.

I'm always reluctant to speculate on gun values because there will be someone along in minute who bought one last week for $350 with a Heiser holster and ivory grips.

So free advice is worth what you pay for it. Nice gun though.
 
I have seen them go for 900 - 1200 bucks. I don't know if the nickel models demand more or not. I have a blue one from 1978 that I wouldn't sell for that. No way. They will never build revolvers like that again.
