What does Taurus normally send with a revolver? Some used gun ads show the factory accessories that came with the ordered gun. Some merely have a foam lined plastic lock box with a gun and a manual in it. While others show the revolvers coming with scopes, speedloaders, scope bases, even a few that showed it coming from the factory with spare scopes in it.

Please help me here.

Both of mine (models 651 and 970) came with the stoopid little keys for the keylock, a generic manual, a warranty card, and a huge amount of smelly oil all over and inside the gun! As for "accessories" I got nothing... Most of that other stuff is probably stuff that the previous owners (if buying used) are throwing in to try and sweeten the deal. As for me, I wouldn't want a scope from Taurus... its kinda like a TV that says Nissan on it... Fine cars, but I'm assuming TVs aren't their specialty ;-)

My Taurus 85SSUL came in a cardboard box. The gun was in a thin foam bag which in turn was inside a plastic bag. A generic manual, warranty card and trigger lock keys were inside the box. New, $280 at Sportsmans Warehouse.
