I'm wanting to load the Lee 358 105 SWC to shoot in my 9mm Springfield XD-e.
To get the round to plunk in the barrel the little bullets need to be seated to the top of the body.
Bullets are seated with the flat seater plug to get them to seat far enough without getting into the crimp function of the Hornady die. Took some messing around with the die to get it to seat the bullet far enough. I then applied a light taper crimp with a Lee taper crimp die. Dumpy rounds feed in the pistol.
Figure I'll start at 4.5 grains of Unique and work up until the pistol functions.
Anyone see an issue with the bullet this far in the case?
