What do you look for in a Gun Shop?

1. inventory (forget "i can order it for you"-that's what the net is for)
2. Good, respectable service
3. Competitive pricing (notice behind service, pricing for me needs to me competitive but i DO pay more @ LGS's that have good service and selection).
4. Extras-Accessories, ranges, classes...
5. Variety of inventory

On ammo I don't mind paying more at lgs. But it's hard to compete with Wally world. Don't mind paying a little more for guns. Especially if they are in stock.
I will pay for service.

Well what I look for things that almost no store in SFLA has. One being reloading components. I hate paying hazmat fees when ordered online. To be honest those fees usually about double my order, so you can mark up your powder and primers and I will pay.

Have "learner's kits" that include everything a beginner needs to get started. Package rates on Cleaning supplies, first 100 rounds of ammo, scope, and case would be nice. Remember, growing the shooting population should be the goal of every LGS.

That is something I havent seen in many many years.. Its a very good idea thou.

Havent read all the replies so here goes.
