How to sell a gun other than the newspaper?

I just sold three guns at a local gun show. Took about 3 hours of walking around with them but I got fair prices for each.

Know your "keep walking" price before you get there and stick to it. Some dealers will low ball you if you're not willing to walk away. Most at this show were decent to downright helpful. Private sellers are always going to pay more but my 870 shotgun and M1 Garand both went to dealers offering a fair deal.

I have a lot of luck with the Tampa Bay Times free ads. You put the ads in on line. They
are free so what’s the down side? I have yet to put in an ad and not have at least a few calls.
So, whatcha sellen?

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I ended up going with Armslist (no need to even register) and it worked out great.

That is my local paper. I was selling a Glock 19, which is on their "forbidden models" list. Ridiculous, since other functionally identical guns (hi-cap semi-autos) are allowed. I guess Glocks just look too mean or have a bad rap.

Took a look at the Tribune, but their ads are a bit too expensive for me.
