So we've got all these threads detailing certain events, competitions, etc...

But why is it that we really do any of these games?

Practice? Thrill of competition? Tactical training?

Oh get over yourselves. You do it because you like shooting guns. Pistols, shotguns, rifles, you name it you love shooting it.

So let's have a picture thread! What all do you use in competition?

I'll start it off. My humble gun. A CZ75B, Satin Nickle finish. I did a kitchen-table trigger job, added a competition hammer, lightened the mainspring, and shaved a bit of rubber off the left-side of my hogue grips to let me hit the mag release easier under pressure

I have a CZ97 I want to try out, and I have used my S&W 625 once before, but this is my main IPSC gun. I shoot Production class.

So now it's your turn.

I shoot different stuff for different matches. Here are some of my guns.

These were my Steel Challenge open guns. The Hard Chrome pistol was built by Randy Lee at Apex Tactical. The gun started life as a Springfield TRP and is now a 9mm open gun. The other gun started life as a Doug Koeing S&W 1911 and is now wearing a Kimber 22 conversion kit. Both have Allchin mounts and C-more's. Both guns have just been replaced and When have pics I will update.

The CZ 75a is my Limited gun for both Steel Challenge and USPSA as well as my 3 gun pistol. This is by far the most fun pistol I have to shoot. This was also worked over by Randy Lee. I love this thing.

This 10/22 is my Take-5 Steel Rifle. I love shooting this rifle. It is very fast. The 22/45 is gone, but When I have pics of the new one I will put them up.

This Stag is my new 3gun rifle. I live in California, hence the funky stock. I also just picked up a a Remington 1100 Tactical that will be my Shotgun. When I have pics I will post them.

I will have pics of my new STI open gun, 22/45 and Remington in a couple of days. I also have a Smith and Wesson M&P which I will soon be using in production.

Glock 17- Production, IDPA, Steel Challenge and Limited minor (23+1 doesn't suck),
Glock 22 and 35- Limited (when I want to be scored major)- I've even been known to use the 22 for IDPA or Production (loaded minor of course).
STI frame with a Caspian Tri-brid slide for Open. (haven't shot a match with it yet).

Oh yeah- a 16" Armalite AR with a Leupold CQT and a tuned Benelli M1 for 3 gun. A Ruger Red Label OU with 26" skeet barrels for skeet. 2 Winchester Model 12's for Trap- one 30" for regular trap and one 32" for handicap.

ddj8052,

Where did you get those grips for your CZ?

Remington,

How do you like your 11-87? I've been looking for a good semi auto shotgun and it's between a Benelli M1 or M2 and an 11-87.

Deer Hunter- I got these grips from Hogue. They are fantastic. Call Them direct as they have a number of different colors and styles.

Update to my pics.

This is a pic of my STI 9mm Open Gun built by Randy Lee @ Apex Tactcal.

Here are a couple of current pics of my AR's just because

This is my Stag which I will be using for 3 gun. It has a JP adjustable gas block, Hogue free float tube, Miculek Comp, Badger extended charging handle (soon to be swapped for a PRI) and soon to be installed JP Trigger group.

For 3 gun it will be wearing a Leupold CQ/T on an A.R.M.S. QD mount and for Squirrels it will be wearing a Bushnell Elite 3200 Tactical 5-15x40mm scope on an American Defense QD mount.
