What does your CZ452 Ultra Lux like?

Just got one and was wondering what types of ammo other people's liked so I could try those out. Also if you are near Richmond, Va where do you go shoot?

I got lucky and mine likes the Remington 'Golden' bulk. 1240 fps average and one hole 50yd groups and ~1" at 100.

I've got the Training version, mounted a fixed 4x.

Try the whole range of ammo, you'll use it all in the end anyways.

Federal 714 has worked well with just about everything I've tried it in, including my UltraLux. Available by the brick at your local Dick's.

Mine shoots anything well, and SK Match very well.

CCI Subsonics are too long for the chamber on my 452. The bullet is forced into the rifling on closing the bolt, which makes for stiff closing.

My favorite are the now discontinued PMC Moderators.

Both of mine, Wolf Match Extra and RWS R50 (my two regular favorite loads). However, I haven't fully tried out all of the ammo available, only the bulk stuff, Rem Sub, all grades of current Fed, CCI Mini Mags, Wolf Match Target. Mine are left iron sighted.

I can't wait to bring a bazillion types of ammo and just shoot for a couple of hours! Hopefully my dad doesn't get annoyed at buying all this.
