I have been pondering this and I now ask the question. What handgun grip feels the most natural in your hand? I am not asking what grip you shoot best with but rather what grip on a handgun feels just right to you? I love S&W N & K Frames, Glocks, CZs, and Browning High-Powers; is one of these the handgun grip that just plain feels right to me? No, the honor goes to “OLD UGLY” (1911A1). The 1911A1 grip just plain feels like an old shoe to me. What grip style feels the most natural in your hands? Regards, Richard :D

Tough call. If you would have asked me three weeks ago, I would have said Beretta. The grip just seems to melt into your hands and is very comfortable.

Now I have my P2000SK which is equally as good. The ergonomics on the P2K grip are different from the Beretta. The P has finger grooves along with an overall ergonomic shape. Excellent grip for small and average hands.

The grip on my Kimber Ultra Carry II is not too shabby either. Nothing special about it but it is shaped nicely and is comfortable to handle. Mine came with rubber side grips and the rear of the frame is serrated to also improve grip. Effects are minimal, IMO.

The Springfield XD series is not at all shaby. Very basic, not to ergonomic, but comfortable. Haveing an XD has piqued my interests in handling a Glock just to feel the differences in grip angle.

Of all, my HK USP is my least favorite when it comes to grip. However...it is a large frame pistol and I have average hands, so it probably wasn't the best choice. With gloves on though, it's up there with Springfield...comfortable, nothing to write home to mom about.

I have to go with the 1911 also.
I have a fairly small hand so the compact 1911 grip fits me perfect.

For autos: 1911s

Others that I have work, especially my Sig 226 and 228, but natural? 1911s.

1911's with a FLAT MSH. An arched MSH feels totally different to me. I also like the grip on my XD.
I liked the feel of CZ's and SIG's I have handled.
I did not like the feel of the Glocks I have held (may get a 26 someday though) nor did I especially like ruger autos or taurus 24/7 .45acp or Bersa .45acp.

I really like the feel of a ruger gp100 and K/N sized S&W's too.~Nathan

Since I have LARGE hands, my P226 fits me best (actually that's the whole reason I got it over an FNP40 or P229 they had). 1911's are comfortable, but are a bit narrow for my hands. Maybe if I tried a ParaOrd P14 with the double stack frame it might fit me better. 1911's are still my favorite handguns though.

Sig P220, K and N Frames, Beretta 87 Target. On any of these guns I can bring the gun up with my eyes closed and when I open them the sights are aligned with my straight ahead view. The absolute opposite of these would be summed up with Glocks, J frames, Ruger Mark II's, and the Luger. Oh and before I forget, anything with those godawfull friggin fingermold Houge overmolded grips! Way to make a huge grip uncomfortable and impossible to conceal!
