What gun for mountain goat defense?

Saw a video of a guy getting really messed up by a Buck!

Some like to believe they are masters of the planet yet the smallest bug can take them out!!

Bug spray and superior weaponry has got to be the answer!
 
A #2 Ticonderoga pencil is good enough. Funny how many doubt the effectiveness of this proven lead delivery system, yet oddly no one ever volunteers to let me test its capabilities on them... enough said.:evil:

Are you people making jokes about the tragedy? The guy getting gored by a mountain goat and dying is not funny.

It is and it isn't. In humor there is always some painful truth. We have to laugh at things like this or we might actually have to face our own mortality....death by mountain goat.

Well, If you are serious, I'd carry come OC spray, at least 10%. It works very well on bears and has an effective range of 20' or so. Works well on the two legged goats too. Geeze...could even try a taser, but ???
 
I don't know if bear spray would work. Goats are too stupid to deal with in any logical way. My neighbor had a large buck goat and a barbado ram. The goat would challenge the ram and the ram would knock him silly. After awhile the goat would recover and do it again. That ram knocked that stupid goat wall eyed several times a day for weeks.
Evidently goats don't even have brains as we know it or he would have been brain damaged to the point of not being able to get up.
 
After reading Lwknights description of goats, I could not help but compare goats to liberals.
 
One thing we will never really know is how many Mountain Goat attacks are averted simply by the presence of a jar of Mint Jelly in the hands of the Good Guy.
 
Im sorry to hear about this mans tragic death.....but this thread has made my morning better. I was thinking how s****y my morning has been and reading this makes me realize it could be worse. Some may not like the humor of others posting but I find life easier if you poke fun at tragic events from time to time.

My prayers to the family.
