Recently bought an older left-handed Galco SOB holster, that I think is for a 1911 style pistol. At least it fits my Para P13 very well. The back of the holster is marked Galco SOB 29.
But looking the holster over closely last night I noticed that there is a cutout in the leather liner on the side OPPOSITE of the magazine release (?). I would have thought that the cutout would be on the SAME side as the mag release so as to not accidentally depress the release.
Is this for some other gun other than a 1911? What other gun has the mag release on the starboard side?
