What gun is this used in movie: Harsh Times ?

Christian Bale's character carries this through out the movie. It looks as if it might be a 1911, but it has grips similar to a sig. Its looks to be commander size, all black with novak style sights.

Sorry these pics are the best I can come up with ? Anyone have any guesses ?

Definitely a 3rd gen S&W auto. Probably a 5904, since I don't remember there being a blued variant of the 4516 or the 4006. Since both the grip and the muzzle are obscured in the pics, hard to tell caliber.

Maybe a 6904, but clearly S&W (the step in the dust cover is a dead giveaway).

I'ts probably a Smith and Wesson semi-auto,because the sides and the safety catch,are telling.I'ts a common feature of these pistols.
