What happened to the Stealth?

When Winchester released the Model 70 Stealth the boards seemed alive with good reviews. Since then I have heard almost nothing about them, so what happed? Did it get discontinued or is there just no interest in them any more?
Curiousity finally got the better of me.

Still being offerred. Got one earlier this year and dropped it in a Choate Varminter. It is still yet unscoped.

They come and go, Winchester will gear up and do a run of Stealths and they will be absolutley everywhere. Then the supply will dry up as what is out there on the market is bought up.


You can still find them around but I suspect that we are in the middle of a period between production runs.
