What is a XCR?

I like the idea, but I'm leery of the company. I'm waiting for a while before I get mine. Think of it as an AR, evolved.

Yeah, I'd like to get one before the election. Its sounds ands looks promising. Please share any info available.

Anyone know, is AIM's supply of them a limited-time thing, or are they a distributor?

Mike

AIM "seems" to do a lot of one time things, but not sure about this particular one. (The only thing I've seen consistently is the bushmaster ARs).

Right. They always have new ARs for sale, usually (always?) Bushies. I'm wondering/hoping that they have become an XCR distributor.

Actually, I'll just email them and ask.

Mike

They've got one hanging on the rack in the show/phone room. I fondled it and for a split second almost went for it. Fear of 'she who must be obeyed' overcame my desire though. I hope they sell out and never carry anymore. I stop by alot and it is not easy staring at them, or the Arsenal AK's for that matter.

I tend to bee quite cautious with My few dollars. I'd do a bunch of research before I'd with them........Essex

Aimsurplus has 'em. I think they're designed for people that have too much money...

What rifle do you think is designed for people who have your definition of just enough money and how much money is that?

They have been very well received by those who have bought them so far. On paper they look to be just about the perfect carbine. There is little doubt in my mind that my next rifle will be an XCR. My only issue with them so far is that I have heard claim that an ambi selector exists, but I have yet to see one or see a picture of one.

I got to shoot one at a suppressor shoot not long ago. It had the heavy barrel, bipod, and the can on it, so it was quite front heavy in that configuration, but that shouldn't be typical.

Robinson has been around for a few years, working to combine the best of the AR and AK. I bought one of the early ones but thought it was too heavy. I now own an XCR and am VERY pleased with it!

Has anyone heard if the caliber conversions are available yet? The web site sounds like they are working on it. I remember thinking that was a pretty cool item. Not a purchase for this year, that is for sure.
