What is the best deer, hog, and black bear revolver

I sort of felt the same way about rifle hunting in the woods. I really wasn't that interested in getting the deer as much as I was interested in how I got it.

I think your choice of the BFR in 45-70 will be more than enough. I used to hunt with a 41 mag. When I wanted to scope a revolver I didn't want to drill & tap my M57, so I bought a Ruger SRH in 480 Ruger about 12 years ago. I have been pleased with it overall even though there is a learning curve. The first time I shot it, I ripped up the web of my shooting hand. Started wearing a glove and that has worked out.

I scoped mine with a 2x Leupold. I hand tightened all the screws and it shot loose within 6 rounds. Lok Tite is the answer... remember that.

I am not back into learning mode again with a 480/475 BFR. Haven't decided yet if I am going to scope it, but I probably will.
