Getting itchy to buy a M4 Carbine, I put my eyes on the Rock River Arms Entry Tactical. Could you guys suggest me the best online place to buy such a rifle at a resonable price? :) How much am I expected to pay for it?

I owned Bushmaster and handled Colt ARs. Both are very excellent rifles. I only heard about RRA, but you guys' praises for it make me think it is worth a try, is it really that good? I do like the Entry Tactical configuration though.

I want a all-evil AR but unfortuantely currently I live in CT, a state who still has its own AWB (Did AWB sound unfamiliar to all you lucky guys already? ) So I have to choose a AWB compilant version. Is the Mock suppressor legal for me? It really looks like a "evil" flash-hider . I don't like the fixed position stock, but cannot decide between the Entry buttstock and the standard A2 stock? Which is better for such a Carbine?

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!

I've dealt with both places and they are both very good with prices to match. The problem may be finding any place with the gun you want in stock. With the expiration of the AWB, all the major players (Colt, BM, RRA, etc.) have some pretty decent backlogs.

This is where ADCO may have the advantage for you? If you’re not hell bent on a factory built AR, I'm sure ADCO could put one together, built exactly the way you want for not much more then a factory built one would cost you.

In the end, this may actually be the better way to go because not only would you get it exactly they way you want it but I believe they also fully test guns they build before shipping meaning there shouldn't be any surprises.

Good luck!

(or there is always the option of building it yourself! :D )

If you have to have a fixed buttstock, don't get one of the pinned collapsibles. I like the A1 length stock- the A2 is a bit long.

+1

Here is an RRA midlength carbine I built using 90% RRA parts. Most of the parts (including the chrome lined midlength A2 barrel) came from ADCO. The Lower came from RB Precision. I used a Colt bolt and carrier and the furniture came from Cav Arms (the stock is A1 length)

My experiance has been with RB and I highly recommend them, but I have also heard nothing but praise for Adco also. Check out each of their inventories and prices, good luck. :D

Not that it really matters much but did I mention that I think new RRA rollmark is the sexiest one out there? :D

Thanks a lot, guys! I really appreciate all the information.

One more question, is the entry stock the same as the A1 stock or even shorter? How do you feel about it?

RB Precision is very good, bought from them last yr. I may try ADCO next, or Pete. All good press on those.
