Who's Happy with RRA SERVICE

Most people seem happy with RRA service. It's good to know what you want before you place an order. A $25 charge to change a placed order seems fair to me, as you are costing both the dealer and the manufacturer more than that in the time it takes to record and process the change request. I'm surprised the dealer didn't tack an additional fee on top of the $25.

You are absolutely right about the change fee,but RRA does not disclose the fee anywhere on its web site. The consumer has the right to full disclosure.

I have no attachment to his specific transaction - I do however take exception to a 3 post person flaming a maker like RRA for the reasons stated. Didn't check other lists, but suspect a similar post is out there elsewhere.
I take exception to a 26 post person or even a 2000 post person acting like a jerk to other forum members. I especially take offense when you're a jerk to the new guys because you are setting a bad example of what this forum is like. Posting volume is not a measure of your worth to this forum. This place isn't called the High Road because we like transportation engineering, it is the High Road because that is the path we expect each other to walk.

But yes Ninehotels is correct, if you change your mind you should expect to reap the consequences. The manufacturer can let it slide or they can make you pay a penalty for their trouble. And you are causing them trouble. They have to track down your order, make the changes, and generally sort out the results of your change to the shop inventory and everyone elses orders. You have no reason to complain if they make you wait or pay more when you give them more work to do.
