I saw some plastic with lead or steel shot in it 9mm ammo for sale and it was cheap. I think it was over at Aim Surplus (can't find it now) for $39.99 for 800rds. What is it? Is it just for paper punching? They called it "blasting ammo" so I doubt it is very accurate. I wonder if it even feeds and works the slides on autos?

That stuffs at Centerfire Systems and they call it "9mm Blasting ammo".$39.97 for 864 rounds
Heres the description
"Originally designed and used as a short range round for a modified Swedish "K" submachinegun. This ammo will cycle semi-auto in the Marlin Camp 9mm rifle and other 9mm rifles! Great for 9mm revolvers, however will NOT cycle in 9mm pistols (single shot only)! MFG by Norma.

Tropical Z,
I think I want to try some of this stuff but I can't find it anymore. I saw it on a web site that someone posted. I went to ceterfiresystems and all I can find is Wollf and Sellier and Bellot ammo.

I bought some a while back, still wonder what the heck possessed me to do so. I still have 300 rounds as I can't figure what the doodle to use them for.

Out of my PT-99 and G19, they are inaccurate as sin and seemingly just as loud as standard ammunition. Concerning safety, the black plastic slug might shatter on impact against a 2x4, but those 5mm iron balls will continue to penetrate the seasoned wood completely and then some.

Not too accurate, plenty loud, absolutely dangerous and lacking the juice to cycle the slide on your typical auto... good luck finding a use for them.

Maybe not then. They sounded like a good idea at the time. I didn't know they were not accurate.

Cheaper Than Dirt is selling the same stuff.

They market it as cheap indoor practice ammo.
