What is the last gun that you bought?

Yet another; yikes. I just couldn't resist a good deal on a Walther LP Model 53; it's the same gun that Bond uses in the movie posters for a few of the early films.

Do you think that anyone has ever read this thread from start to finish in a single day? Just curious.

New odds and ends

Just picked up a Norinco 213A (15 shot), in the Norinco box, 2 mags, test fired, for $275. Deal or no?

Also, recently acquired an M1911 Argentine Colt, SN C6236, Argentine Navy, with arsenal 1911A1 mod (arched mainspring housing) in VG+ cond. No import marks, but has the German Proof House marks. Was $900 too much?

And MAY acquire an Argentine Systems Colt M1927 Service Ace type conversion (Buenos Aires Police markings), also no import marks, but again, the German Proof House marks. Any ideas on a good price?

Lastly, recently acquired a Colt National Match .38Spl Mid-range and a Colt .22 conversion unit. Marked by the German Proof House. $1290. Deal or no?

Almost forgot. A Spanish M43 Mauser (La Coruna Arsenal 1949), all matching numbers, W/ bayonet/scabbard/frog (not original to gun), with SN pencilled inside both the stock and handguard. Nice, frosty bore, no import marks. $200. Good or bad?

In March, a Pedersoli 12 ga SxS muzzleloader for a turkey hunt with my stepdaughter. We didn't bag a gobbler on our first hunt, but we had a great time and will be back to try again next spring.





Yesterday, a Rossi Matched Pair .410 / .22lr for my son's 9th birthday in August for the nice price of $139. We will have some serious squirrel fun this fall!
