There's a shop that is a ways away from me that I know has good ammo prices on Wednesday I was up that way and popped in....Turns out they they also had good price(and were willing to deal) on a LNIB Glock 19 ..Who can turn down a good deal on a G19..? :) (especially when they didn't own one...)

I noticed the samething, it's not in the new catalog either so my guess it has been discontinued.
I have been wanting a Springfield EMP or a Kimber Ultra Carry I just didn't like the prices.
I saw the used Hawg for under $500 and just could pass it up. It is a little snappy, but you can't
get away from that on the subcompacts. Besides being snappy it shoots really nice I also had to add
the finger extensions on all of my mags. I hate it when my pinky hangs off the end.

Just traded a Kel Tec su-16 Alpha model for a 1953 Russian Sks all matching numbers looks like it was in an armory somewhere for several decades and bore is like glass simply beautiful got 100 bucks to boot too.

Also got a 1942 Svt-40 tula made same day for 500 which was a great deal since it all matches as well.

Put a mini 14 on layaway yesterday :)

Picking up an Italian Beretta 92FS from a friend later today.

The purchase price helps him get some new photography equipment, and I get to check off my list another "I've always wanted one of those."

Springfield XDm, 40 Cal

I've been shooting all 9mm, but I couldn't turn down the great used deal I received on this one. I ran 200 rounds through it this weekend. It is very accurate and fun to shoot. However, the packaging is over-hyped. The mag carrier is fine for the range and the holster is junk. The last time I shot an XDm, I loved it. The grip angle seemed very 1911 like, which I liked at the time as a 1911 guy. Now that I own one and put more than 50 rounds down the pipe successively, I don't like it as much as I did. I may be in the minority, but I find the ergonomics of my g19 to be superior. Yeah...I never thought I'd say that. I'm not a fan of the sights, either. If I keep it, I'll go with some black combat sights at the back and a much thinner front sight. I love this XDm, though...especially at the low price of admission I got with it. I'll withhold my judgment for the 750-1000 round mark. I do love the forward cocking serrations, everything over 4" should have them IMO. Speaking of over 4", this thing is way too big for concealed carry so I wish they would have went with the 5" barrel.

Springfield should take a look at the M&P Range kit that they offer with new purchases. It comes with a higher quality Blade-Tech holster, Blade-Tech double mag holder and a Maglula Uplula loader. It's around a c-note less than the XDm package and I consider the weapons to be on par with each other...but the included accessories are much higher quality with the M&P. If I had been buying new I would have likely went with the M&P Range kit.
