I bought a AK 74 - Century Arms Tanatal. I took it out this past Saturday and after
a few teething problems (it is my first semiauto battle type rifle and I was learning
on the fly) it was shooting OK after a little trial and error. I had a few misfeeds
at first but I believe it was the way I was loading the magazines. Things got
better and the gun groups well but it was shooting left. Now I need to get on a
benchrest and see if that is operator error or if I need to adjust the front sight
a bit. Now I'm thinking about buying it's bigger brother when it comes to
cartridges - the AK 47 or about getting that large caliber snubbie I've always
wanted (.44 or .45).
Just brought home a Henry Repeating Arms .22 lever action. Haven't had a .22 lever action since Marlin brought out the Micro Groove Rifling and mine one couldn't hit the side of a barn standing inside.
This will add to my collection which is in triple digits.
a 1851 Colt Brevete which is essentially an illegal Colt copy from Europe to satasfy the Great War of Northern Agression between the states, need for firearms.
I was going to say a PSA (Precision Small Arms) "Baby Browning" clone in stainless, but I just got an e-mail from CMP that my Garand is going to be waiting for me at the FedEx depot tomorrow morning.
I guess that's the "last one I bought," although it's not in my possession yet.
NOYDB,(None Of Your D*** Business!) How many weapons I have, or what was the last one bought is nobodies business. Nothing like allowing a hacker to find out where there's a collection?
