What is the last gun that you bought?

A week ago I picked up from my FFL friend a CZ 75 PCR. And have to say I really like it. Super quality pistol.

I bought this a year or two ago from a member of another forum and never fired it. I'm going to visit my family in Metairie, LA later this morning and decided to give it to my son-in-law as a birthday gift.

1983 Remington Model Four, which is a variation of the Model 7400. It's a .30-06 with the barrel shortened and re-crowned. My wife and I will use it to hunt deer and pigs.

Just added a Bulgarian Makarov in .380 to the stable.

Kind of wanted a Makarov in .380 for a long time. Saw a good deal and said "why not, they aren't getting any cheaper".

Ironically, I can already see that this purchase will now enable the justification of an LCP or some other micro-.380 at some point in the future. It never ends...

(Sigh).......You are sooooo right ! What can I say ? You've "got the bug" like we all do.:)

For some reason I decided to buy a 9mm Hi-Point.

YUP, it's ugly no debate there, but then a H & K is no beauty queen IMO.

And so far I have been pleasantly surprised, granted it not in the league of my Kimbers or Springfields, but it was nowhere near their price point either. Does it go bang every time, Yes it does, is it accurate, more so than I am anymore. Conclusion? It makes an ideal plinking pistol for only $150 bucks new.

As I posted in another thread...

H&R 676 & Heritage Rough Rider

I bought both of the above about the same time, but think the 676 was the last. It shot well today, and is SA & DA.

The Her. RR is SA only, and it looks good, but I had trouble adjusting to the "safety". Why they believed it was necessary, I'll (probably) never know. I used to think of it as a "poor man's single six". I'll just have to keep shooting it for awhile to know if I want to keep it.

How do you like the KSG
So far I have shot 50 rounds of Federal 2.75" 00 buckshot, 40 rounds of Winchester 2.75" 1oz slugs, 100 rounds of Winchester 2.75" #7 birdshot, and 20 rounds of Aguila 1.75" 7/8oz slugs through it. No stoppages or malfunctions.
I'm having fun with it.

Last Gun Bought

In my posting yesterday, I forgot that the last one bought was a Remington Model 870 20 gauge pump, (Youth Model size) Home Defense, 18 1/2" barrel.

CZ P-09. My first polymer CZ. I like it a LOT. Holds and shoots perfectly for me. Sold all my Glocks.

Traded my Ruger 1911 for it + a decent pile of cash come my way. Both guns in pristine shape with all 19 round mags and accessories.

Drawback of the CZ P-09? Magazine cost.
