What is the last gun that you bought?

last gun

Just got a CZ P09 9mm. My first 9mm. I wanted a 9mm because ammo is usually cheaper. I got the CZ P 09 because I wanted a full sized 9mm. Looked at several different makers, Smith m&p full size; HK VP9 &Glock 17 and 34. Liked way the HK felt... but it was too costly. The CZ was my next choice. I have been reading and researching and CZ met all my "wants". And , as a bonus, largest capacity mag.! The only real downside to getting the CZ is the cost of extra mags is high.

Picked up a VERY lightly used Remington 870 Express Magnum, 12 gauge, 28" barrel with 3 choke tubes and the screw-in tool for a good deal.

Should make a nice hunting shotgun. I am quite satisfied.

Just grabbed a NIB S&W 686 plus, 6" off of Gunbroker. Went back and forth between .454 & .357, but finally decided I'd rather shoot more .38/.357 than have the wow factor of the .454. Also about to pick up a reloading kit to learn reloading.

Last gun(s) I bought

Mid: MkVI shorty 455ca

Sarsilmaz K2 .45. I'm picking it up this weekend and can't wait to try it out. I'll post pics after I get it (and shoot the hell out of it).

Brought home a Steyr AUG A3 SA today.

Nice contrast to my Blaser R8.

".300 AR pistol built on Mg alloy upper and lower receivers with a carbon fiber handguard."

Braggart!

Justified, of course...but now you'll be deluged with requests for your recipe.

Be sure to tell the seekers that the minimum weight for an AR build is getting lowered every single day because exotic materials are more available and less expensive.

Further, expect this trend to continue.

Won a gun raffle the other day , didn't care for the rifle so my LGS guy converted the deal so I could add a G42 to my Glock collection not a Glock snob by any stretch ,last falls purchase was an SP101 which I carry OWB all winter and its a sweet shooter and contrary to what I have read not at all heavy to CC .
Been reading this site daily for quite awhile and get some really good info and tips on reloading .

Springfield XDM 4.5 in 45 ACP. $560 out the door!

Attended a gunshow yesterday and saw a very nice rifle. I didn't buy it then ....but it grew on me overnight.
So, today, I went back and .... thankfully, it was still there.

It's a Model 1892 Limited Edition Deluxe Takedown Rifle, in .32-20.
20" octagonal barrel. Pistol type grip, checkered forearm and stock.
Beautiful new rifle.
The ONLY thing I don't care for .... well, two things to be honest;
1.) Safety. It has one. But it's an inconspicuous slide switch on the tang. Meh. I can live with it.
2.) Rebound hammer. Originals had a half-cock position. *SIGH!* This and the safety ...sign of the times I guess.
But heck it's a terrific rifle!

.
A perhaps 25+ yr-old Miroku-made Browning 92 (a superbly-made copy of the Winchester Model 1892) in .44 Remington Magnum with a 20" barrel.

I've been shooting a lot of .357 through levers lately and was prepared for an large increase in recoil with the .44 but it's soft shooter using off-the-shelf Federal American Eagle 240 gr jacketed hollerpoints.

Just last month...

... but still the latest I've bought.

Astra model 300. This one made in 1943 and sold to the Luftwaffe, according to the serial number and accepted history. None of this lot of pistols were acceptance marked, so it has no NAZI markings; okay by me. This sample is in 7.65mm Browning; rather typical for the time and location.

All in all, in pretty good shape. Some knocks and 'pimple rust'. Shoots well.

Looks like this.
