What is the last gun that you bought?

Been looking for a 1911 in 10mm. However, came across this today at a LGS. Liked it enough to put the 10mm on the back burner for awhile. I can't find this exact pistol on the net. It may be part of a promotional edition. It differs from what I'm finding offered in a couple ways. First, the front slide serrations. I cannot find those on the "C" model anywhere, only on the full size "G" model. And on the right side of the slide is a fish & CCA. Turns out that is the logo for the Coastal Conservation Association. I like a nice clean slide, but this isn't too bad. I may leave it alone. If I do decide to remove it, it looks like it is "applied" to the slide, rather than etched into it. So it should be easy to remove. Also came with a knife. Kind of gimmicky, but hey...free knife.

Last gun I bought was a Henry golden boy .22 lever. Was looking for a lever action .22 and this came from an estate and was never fired. Couldn't pass up the price. It's a handsome gun and a joy to shoot. Since then my Son gifted me a Remington 1911 R1 .45. Also a joy to shoot. Out of my 4 kids he just might be the favorite but don't tell the others.
 
I actually took it in trade. As it's not really my cup of tea I will trade it or sell it off. I only accepted it because it's in like new condition and chambered in 308. For some reason you can find them in 30-06, 270, and 243 all over, but not 308. I've got it listed on armslist.com if you want to I'm asking for it.
 
Well, I guess this qualifies--at least it does shoot a projectile. It shoots a .95 caliber ball. In fact, it's such an odd size that I had to order a mold made in the UK. I just got a notice the mold should deliver by Monday.

Anyway, it's a 1/4th scale model of an M1841 bronze 6 lbr. howitzer. This was a very popular field gun during the Mexican war in 1846-1848 and also used during the early years of the ACW. By then it had begun to be eclipsed by the more powerful 12 lbr. Napoleon, 3 inch Parrott and Ordinance rifles. However, the South used it for longer since they lacked the immense capacity of the Northern foundries.

Shown next to it is a 1/8th scale version of the same gun that I assembled from a Dixie gunworks kit about 40 years ago. It shoots a .50 lead ball.

A 2nd CZ SP-01 9mm that should be in my hands in a week, maybe this weekend. Gunbroker has been really good for me this year, good deals and good at lightening my wallet.
