Bought a Ruger Super BlackHawk .44Magnum today.
Very clean three screw...serial number shows it was made in 1970. The same year my three screw .41Magnum was made.

My only other three screw is a .357Magnum made in 1958.

About a week or so later I went to the same store and bought another of the same sort of revolver. Same year, same model number, same configuration.
Consecutive serial numbers.

Mine is a V1 and I love that LEM trigger. Also love the way it shoots. I currently prefer to carry something slightly smaller (not necessarily lighter). I plan to keep it for home protection but am not completely ruling out "winter" carry, although I live in South Florida. So YMMV in any or all of those respects.
