What is the last gun that you bought?

The new kid in the safe. Ruger MKIV lite 22/45. Came with all the goodness from Volquartsen and TK. 6 mags! .... Ran home: CLEANED! Then headed out to the range. Feels wonderfully lite, lol. Range was busy for 95 degrees so only could jump on the 25-yard line. Ran a box of Fed A.M. / 100ct of Aguila pistol comp. (sniff only two boxes left) 100ct Eley Club. Only two misfires due to Fed A.M. Fired the second strike. Man, still shaking my head how great it did with the aguila. Anyway. Very happy to have another MKIV.

Last actual purchase to date 3 Apr 2023.

My first purchase was a Marlin Glenfield 99G (precursor of the Model 60) bought with my Christmas money 1965.
I have the same rough rider. Fun gun to shoot.

This morning I ordered a Robin's Egg Blue P365-380 from my LGS' online store. I love 2-tones, and I want it, even though I have no use for the grip module. I'm a P365 armorer, so as soon as this baby gets home, the safety's coming off and the FCU is going into a Wilson Combat grip module.

On an impulse I bid and won a S&W Model 10-7 Peruvian contract 2" snub. I'm a sucker for special contract service revolvers, especially short barrels. Only four pictures posted by seller so a "pig in a poke" (hoping it's not the pig). None of these 1,984 revolvers ever made it to Peru since the order was cancelled when the agency they were made for was dissolved and became part of the national police. They're stamped on the side plate with the Peruvian marking. Who doesn't need a snub with a llama on the side plate?:) S&W made them available to dealers after order was cancelled. Looks in pretty good shape but time will tell.
It arrived/transferred today. It's in better shape than I expected. Zero wear & only a couple small freckles from being stored I suspect. I'll try it at the range later this week. IMG_2834.JPG IMG_2838.JPG

Well, you guys did it again - derailed me from my goal of getting a S&W Revolver. I have a CMP 1911 that I shoot a little. I have a S&W SW1911 E-Series .45 that I shoot more. Then I see posts about Tisas and the value bargains seem to be good too good to pass up for an inexpensive 1911 plinker with less expensive ammo. So I just ordered this. Tisas Duty B9. Beavertail grip safety, skeleton hammer and trigger, Novack style sights, ambidextrous safety, front and rear serrations. Total cost to me of $380 once it gets to my door. A little less than I've seen previously and I was kind of kicking myself for not buying it then. Posts and my report when I pick it up and stop by the range on the way home after picking it up, I'm guessing sometime next week.

Last one was a 6 1/2” 357 Blackhawk out of my club mentors estate. Along with his Y model 12 and Nylon 66.
The Ruger will be my companion gun for the Henry single shot 357 Illinois deer rifle. (When the NEF 45-70 stays home)

Here's my Tisas 1911 B9 (9MM) Duty that I was able to pick up yesterday, with a sheen of recently applied CLP. I was delayed 2 days on my NICS background check, so when I got the go ahead from my FFL, I wasn't prepared. I didn't have my range box with me, so no targets, gun lube etc. That didn't stop me from detouring to the range on the way home and putting 50 rounds through it. 5" groups at 25 yds and the very first shot had a failure to feed. Cleared it and the remaining 49 shots went fine. I now have three 1911's. A CMP M1911A1, a S&W SW1911 E Series, a this Tisas in 9mm.

I would buy another tomorrow, but. must. save. for. a. revolver...must. have. willpower.o_O. Tisas 1911 B9 Duty.jpg

870TB, a twin to the one I’ve been shooting since I bought it new in ‘75. SNs aren’t far off so probably from within five years. 98% condition and fixed IM choke. (A steal at $350)
