What is the last gun that you bought?

Well, it looks like I just bought a Remington #4 rolling block on Gunbroker.

I have been thinking of getting a 32 Long revolver. That got me thinking of a matching rifle. Then I saw a video on Brownells that was about how to convert the rimfire to a centre fire. That got me thinking. Follow that with seeing this on Gunbroker. The result, a new rifle.

Yes, I am aware that I will need to stick to low-pressure loads. 32 long is a very low-pressure cartridge.

I also just realized that 32 rimfire is a bit bigger than 32 long. After I get it, I will have to run a piece of soft lead through the bore and see what I think.
  • .32 Rimfire .316 in (8.0 mm)
  • .32 Long .312 (7.9mm)

New (very old) gun finally back from the gunsmith. Krag-Jorgenson sporter in 6.5x55 Swedish, 18" barrel.
Now sporting a Surefire FS and a ramped front sight.
Had a funky brake cut into a sleave silver soldered on the barrel I didn't like.
No clue who sporterized it, or when, but I love that wood.
Old school adjustable target sights are cool too.
Probably should do something about that finish, but there's just something about that beat-to-hell old rifle sitting in that rather nice stock...
Not a bad little truck gun for a 100+ year old design, made 79 years ago under Nazi occupation in Norway.

I think this is the only gun I bought in 2023, and I did it on the last day of the year. I guess I like .22s.
