Last purchase was a High Standard 1911. I love the look of a GI .45, but when I get one, I can't seem to leave them alone. Hopefully I will resist temptation and leave this one stock.

My father bought (I was 15 5 years ago) and I paid for a Winchester Model 94 Ranger before they went out of production.

I prefer it to any bolt action for hunting. It is short and is well balanced. I got used to 30-30 recoil and away I went. It drops deer in one shot and dead in their tracks. It's just a joy to shoot.

I later bought a Remington 870 Express shotgun. I don't like shotguns as much.

I started a thread about My FIrst Gun and yeah I let it go, but I'm not sad
about it. I sold it to a childhood friend. My grandfather and his father were the best 8-ball pool players in their small town. The guy I sold the S&W MOdel 18 to helped his mom run a bowling alley in a town both of our families
had moved to and they maintained a snooker table he & I learned a lot about pool on. Anyway, he put a lot of rounds through that Mod. 18 while I went off to the USN. I did learn something very important in that first handgun - don't sell them but if you do make it a friend you're going to stay in
touch with .

S&W Model 60 3" Bbl. .357 Mag/38 SPcl. +P - what a little jewell the smallest
frame in Stainless Steel frame and cyllinder it is. I bought it for my less than 1 year old grand-daughter's 21rst birthday. I'll get her her 11th birthday a 63 with a matching BBl. Len. as soon as S&W offers it, or I'll get a 5 incher cut down to 3" BBl. Len.

Kahr PM9 ... purchased it new at a local gun show over the weekend.

When I got home I did some more research on the internet and found a lot of complaints. Made me a little nervous (I had researched earlier and found mostly positive feedback).

I have shot 350 rounds. Eight or ten misfeeds during the first 50 rounds ... not unexpected for break-in period. Rounds 51 - 350, not one malfunction. The gun was well oiled as per manufacturer recommendations.

I shot four different brands of high quality +P ammo, due to the many complaints about feed problems when using HP ammo. Absolutely no feed problems.

So far I am a happy customer. Don't think I will conceal carry until I reach 500 rounds with demonstrated reliability.

Small, airlite (not in composition) and very accurate. Doesn’t bother me that Kahr is owned by the Moonies.

I purchased a Browning Buck-Mark at the show Sunday. Cheaper to shoot that than the 45/9

Found this old fashioned Smith and Wesson gun, came in a funny ol' box, brown wrapping paper and an instruction manual that says Highway Patrolman model 28-2
