my newest toy is the taurus oss 24/7 45. the 1911 government model 45 was invented when planes still had 2 or 3 sets of wings, soldiers still rode horses, and radio hadn't been invented yet. while it has served well for 100 years, the new taurus beats it, hands down, no question. you can love your old 67 mustang, but it can't compare with the new cobra, not even in the same class. so it is with the taurus oss. 12+1 firepower, world class novac sights, truely ambidextrous. no more barrel rattle due to bushing slop, no hammer to nose dive the barrel. look into one, you will become a believer.
