Topped off by a Minox 2-10x40mm "Z5" scope.

Consistent 3/4" 3 shot groups @ 100 yards with Barnes 165 grain TSX bullets.

< MOA gun with no need to take out a second mortgage.

I bought two on the same day - set out to buy a new Marlin 45-70 Guide, 1895G a couple of months ago, but stumbled across a barely used 45-70 LTD V with a 24" octagon barrel, improved rear peep tang sights, etc., only 1000 were made - so I got it at a great price, although just slightly more than a new 1895G. But while there, I also saw something I had been wanting, a new 338 MX, and knowing that Marlin's Connecticut factory was closed and there would be no more out of there - I bought it as well. Came home with two - hope that counts.

Not Fair!

This thread isn't fair. I buy a new gun about every other week.
I think that I have bought 3 or 4 more guns since my last post. I got a Charles Daly HD 12 ga. with breacher and ghost ring, a Rossi model 851 stainless 38 spl. and a Springfield GI Champion LW 45ACP.

I'll get back to with more in a week or two.
